Austrian Pillows (Jam Puff Pastries)

Delicious jam-filled pastries!
Ingredients
- 3 oz. cream cheese
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup flour
- Jam
Instructions
- Cut the cream cheese and butter into small pieces. Cut in the flour until all the flour is coated and mixed in with the butter (like you're making a pie crust).
- Place in refrigerator for 2 hours.
- Place on lightly floured surface and roll out into one thin piece. Cut into squares.
- Place a small amount of jam (blackberry/black raspberry would be delicious) in the centre of each square. Fold over dough to form rectangles or triangles. Make sure each pillow is pinched together so that the jam does not run out.
- Cut 2 slits in the top of each pillow for venting.
- Bake for 10 - 12 minutes at 375 degrees.
Notes
You can use any jam for the filling. Get creative and use nutella, cheese, peanut butter, etc as your filling. These can be tweaked to your preference!
